Very nice, small 2 bedroom well-equipped apartment in old-town Cadiz, within walking distance of the beach, cultural landmarks, a large range of restaurants, shops and a general grocery store or two. (Unfortunately there are pastry shops around every corner!!) The apartment is off a secure patio area with two others (permanent residents) whose owners seemed quiet and friendly. We had no worries walking about the neighbourhood. We visited in early October so we didn't get to see how well the apartment was heated or cooled - it was perfect already. A minor inconvenience was not having internet access in the apartment, but it was easily available in nearly all the restaurants, etc. The train station is also within walking distance, but it is probably best to take a taxi on arrival as it is a somewhat uphill climb. Leaving is fine - downhill and by then you know where you are going. Also, on arrival, you will contact someone for the key so make sure your phone plan is OK for Spain. Before leaving for Spain I printed out the apartment's address in large font to show the taxi driver on arrival, rightfully anticipating that my Spanish pronunciation of the street name would be incomprehensible. Overall a very nice holiday in Cadiz.

Our stay was fairly comfortable but the Apartment was very humid and damp with not much natural light. Perhaps this was because of the time of year when we were there which was beginning March.
