We stayed in Casa Charlotte ground floor apartment for four weeks from late February to late March. We were unlucky with the weather, but the top quality apartment made up for that. Frans and Nuttee have thought of everything to make their guests comfortable and welcome. Kitchen facilities are first class so you can cook knowing there is every utensil you need. There are plenty of heaters for the cool winter weather, the bed is so comfy, everything is spotless and all appliances work perfectly. We had British TV, WiFi, excellent service from Frans and Nuttee and even bathroom scales to prevent us from eating too many cakes from the baker, one minute away. The ground floor apartment is not particularly light as the street is a proper old town narrow one, but the roof terrace is the perfect place to spend time, with its views of sea and mountains, and the winter solarium (with seats, tables, fridge and power points) is wonderful. Our one disappointment was that the weather wasn’t warm enough for us to use the barbecue they have so thoughtfully provided. We loved it, hope to go again, maybe during summer to gain the full outdoor experience.

I am so happy to know this place and its lovely hosts. I have been there many times with or without my husband and I always feel safe. Every time that we try to spend a holiday somewhere else, we just have to come back to Casa Charlotte to relax and enjoy Nerja from the best place in town or in Europe!. Authentic spanish atmosphere, charming naigbourhood. The apartments have EVERYthing like in your own home. Nutée and Frans makes you feel so welcome and to us it feels just like family. Dont tell averyone, because we also want to stay there again :-)

We have lived in Nerja for two months each of the past two years, having stayed at Casa Charlotte both years. Initially we had planned to stay in different locales around the Mediterranean, but we found our home away from home in Nerja the first time out. Frans and Nuttee were instrumental in making this an easy decision. Their care and attention to guests, their beautifully equipped and maintained residences, and their constant hospitality make Nerja our first and best choice.

Casa Charlotte is so comfortable due to the attention given by the owners Nutte and Frans. They become your friends once you have stayed in one of their apartments. There is such attention to detail and should you have a minor problem(very rare) it is attended to immediately. You know when you get there you accommodation is trouble free. They even show you around area for best restaurants and bars. We have been going there now for 10 years and hopefully for many years to come.
