I don’t like to moan, but sadly you need to know the villa did have issues while we were staying in it. On arrival to the villa the outside looked amazing. We were really happy. Sure is an amazing place with great views. I paid to heat the pool and hot tub for the 2 weeks. In the evening we found the outside lights were not working. It was the lights round by the hot tub. So we could not use the hot tub until Christine brought more light bulbs. Christine sister turned up with new light bulbs the next day. Sadly Christians sister did not know how to fit the lights etc. So I had to climb onto a chair and try and fit the lights. I was not happy doing this. Why was the villa not checked before we entered. Note: The garden lights also don’t work. Hot water issue. We had no hot water for nearly the entire holiday. I spoke to the pool cleaner and he said it’s on summer setting, and it needs changing. I asked him to change it. He did not change anything, Just left. Why was it on summer setting??? After looking all over I found the cylinder on 14th November and it was set to 40•c. (Any future renters I have changed the tempriture on the cylinder to 60•c - the cylinder is under the steps) When the cylinder was set to 40•c This temperature is highly dangerous as it’s a breading ground for legionella!! We had no hot showers from 3rd November - 14th, but just warm enough if you was brave! We just put up with cold ish showers as by this time I’ve had called Christian so many times about issues with the property. It becomes embarrassing.... Throughout our stay we had issues with cockroaches around the villa. They were in the bath, shower area, cracks around the bathrooms, and in the bathrooms. I believe they are getting in though cracks in the villa. I’ve staid In hotter claimants like Thailand and never experienced cockroaches like this! If the villa is experiencing cockroaches then why does it not have cockroaches traps? I kept the villa clean and tidy at all times. The floors were cleaned daily and even after eating in villa. It’s not nice going to the toilet at night finding cockroaches at your feet. Specially in the dark. The garage key did not work. I tired it when we arrived. I mentioned it to Christine but nothing was done. When my dad arrived, Christine sorted out another set of keys. Thank you. But we did not try the garage key on the second set. When we had x 4 of us in the villa there was no table inside to eat. So we had to move the outside table too and from. There is a Island at the end of the kitchen. But non of the chairs are high enough. Don’t pay to heat the pool.... The pool would get hot then cold again. Not sure what this was because of. We had 2 days of the pool being nice a warm. The cover was over all times when not in use. When the pool person come to clean it, the pool was not blowing out warm water no more. But did find after swimming up to the edge a debrie sucker filter was on that had never been on before and it got stuck to my skin and left a blood blister! Careful if you bring children. Eletrical issues: We suffered from the fuse board tripping out and then the hot tub comes up with E2. We can’t re-set the hot tub as the cupboard is locked with the electrics inside it. Christine got the pool man round to re-set electrics in cupboard. Then the fuse board tripped again. Christine then got an Electrition round the next day. I had to wait in for the election on 2 days to sort out the issue for your villa. No compensation given. Just told I had to do it to get it fixed! Christine sister turned up the first time with the election to try and identify the issue. I told Christine what the issue is and what needs doing and the election agreed. The issue was the Main circuit breaker had the incorrect AMP breaker. The villa had a 40 AMP breaker. When the villa had everything on it would be pulling 55 +AMPs. The main circuit board is also linked to the hot tub circuit board, this is why the hot tub circuit would trip too. Was a shame we did not have the key to un-trip the switch in the cupboard. Sadly we ended up un-able to use the hot tub. When the villas fuse board would tripping. The walk to the fuse board in pitch black was very dangerous! When speaking to Christian she said no issues like this has happened before. I can’t believe it... But the fuse can get weaker over time. I feel disappointed this occurred and I wish we did not have these issues. (I could not add the photos of cracks and cockroaches in this review ) Hope you found this review helpful.

This was an excellent villa to stay in. It was great that it had air conditioning which was much needed. The views were stunning, especially from the infinity pool. The location was very good being very close to Salobrena. Not far from Granada. There were plenty of eating places around, with excellent supermarkets close by. The villa had all the facilities that were needed. The kitchen was well equipped. Did have to phone manager about the hob as I had never used induction before for cooking and had not realised the hob would not work without having the correct size saucepan on it. It only heats up when the saucepan is on. However, the response was instant. The Wifi was very good. Also as we subscribe already to Netflix it was great to have it via the TV. There was a communal area with pool and tennis courts and pool which we did not use. A car is definitely essential. I would certainly recommend the villa.

The layout of the house is perfect for the family with children. All the bedrooms are at the same floor and you can see the pool while in the kitchen. The view is incredible and you are able to see it almost everywhere in the house.

Excellent modern villa very close to the lovely town of Salobrena. All 3 bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage and lovely en suites. The lounge and kitchen open out onto the pool and multiple seating areas which all face the wonderful sea view. Minor niggle was no UK tv but the local house manager lent us her laptop so we could watch the Andy Murray matches at Wimbledon! All in all a fantastic place to relax on holiday and under an hour from Grenada for the Alhambra.
