Stayed here mid October 2018, the photos on the website honestly don’t do the villa justice. It far exceeded our expectations. My wife was absolutely astounded and almost in tears of joy when we first arrived and saw how stunning the place was. The villa is spotlessly clean and has absolutely everything in it that you could possibly want or need to use. The owners and their family are such lovely people and very attentive to make sure you enjoy your vacation. The area itself has stunning views from all around the villa. You can lose track of time just taking in the views down the valley to frigilliana and beyond to Nerja. The whole property is very well maintained and to a high standard too. There’s plenty of space around the pool and terraced areas to soak up the sun and relax. You have the best of both worlds here in the sense that you can relax in peace and quiet or frigilliana is just a 10 min journey if you fancy some more activity. Nerja is 20-25 mins away and is also really nice with plenty of places to see and visit too. This is the best holiday we’ve had yet ( even though we had a lot of thunderstorms) and can’t wait to return next year ( we’ve already booked) If your looking for a great holiday at a fantastic price this is the place to go, you won’t be disappointed

We were lucky Casa Laura was available having found our original booking unsatisfactory and not somewhere we wanted to stay for 3wks! Antonio and his lovely mother (Francisca) and sister, Laura, met us in Frigiliana and we followed them up to property enjoying beautiful scenery on the way. Warning: last half kilometre contains very sharp hairpin followed by 30+% up/downhill gradient and blind corner, but drivers are careful and views stunning! We were delighted by property and its spacious pool and outside areas offering views over mountains, Frigiliana, and Nerja on one side, and Torrox and mountains on other with, almost unbroken seaview. Despite short notice, casa was well-presented including bottle of wine and glasses waiting on table, + generous welcome pack. Very impressive! We spent time in Torrox, Nerja and charming Frigiliana, but we're no strangers to the area and know La Herradura, Almuñécar and Salobreña well. The caves of Nerja are a must, as is Granada (Alhambra) and Trevélez (highest village in Spain and famous for its jamón serrano). We also enjoyed lazy days by the pool reading and swimming. Of note: Washing machine is very old and takes only 5kg, so if you overload it won't spin - 3 towels is too much so you have to split and reset spin cycle! No English TV (currently on Astra satellite but husband says it should be Hotbird 13deg E). Do not overload electric (oven, hotplates, and kettle at same time may be too much) or it trips and you need to flick switch. We are very grateful to Antonio, Francisca, and Laura for letting us stay in their lovely casa - they turned a nightmare into a dream and it was a joy to meet them!

On arrival in to Frigiliana, we were met by the owners who escorted us to the house. This was extremely worth while as it would have been tricky to find it on our own at night. They showed us around and left a lovely welcome pack which was greatly received after the journey. The villa was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Beautiful views of Nerja and Frigiliana mountains surround you and there is ample outside seating to enjoy during the day and the warm evenings. The bedrooms and living room have a good air con unit and the WiFi was really reliable. It was extremely quiet and a car is necessary. One thing to note, if you are an inexperienced or nervous driver I would not recommend this as the journey up to the villa off the mountain road is quite hairy! That being said - the villa, owners and surrounding areas were lovely.

We arrived to a lovely welcome package and the property has everything you need for a relaxing family holiday. The outside has a great pool and barbeque area with pizza oven and plenty of shaded areas which are very welcome during the middle of the day. The rooftop terrace gives you amazing panoramic views of Nerja, Torrox, Frigiliana and the beautiful mountain ranges. The garden and pool area can be lit at night so that you can enjoy the warm evenings outside or you can turn them all off and enjoy looking at the night time stars with no light pollution. Inside the property is equipped with many nice features including air conditioning, oven and hob, washing machine, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, flat screen tv with a dvd player / satellite tv and excellent WiFi (30gb) which allowed consecutive streaming of movies on two HD devices with no buffering. The property is fairly secluded with the nearest town, Frigiliana, a ten minute drive away. There are however two great restaurants within walking distance. The villa is on the peak of one of the beautiful hills so the drive up there is on a steep single track road but there is so little traffic. By the time you have driven it a couple of times it feels normal. There are loads of places to visit and I would recommend the old town of Frigiliana with its steep and narrow streets with quaint shops including a rather nice chocolatier. Nerja is the largest nearby town with lots of shops and if you need towards the seafront there are lots of cool, narrow pedestrianised streets with more great shops and restaurants. There is a huge car park just off the sea front (parking carabeo) where you can park for a few Euros and enjoy the shops, beach and restaurants. Finally, another must is a trip to Torrox Costa, and take the coast road to get there to enjoy a relaxing drive with uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea. If you keep following the road(Av. de Andelucia) there is a huge free car park just after the Hotel Iberostar Malaga Playa. It is right on the beach and their is a long beach promenade to walk along with some great sandy beaches. You can also enjoy one of the best handmade pizzas you will ever taste at the Restaurante Elspino just to the west side of the Hotel Iberostar, 30 metres from the promenade. Thank you for your hospitality and allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home.
