There is nothing ordinary about this beach front property that has come on the rental marekt for the first time in 2017. It is designed with with a nautical theme, a ship about to set sail into the blue Mediterranean. Then it is located in the heart of the village of L’Ampolla, just a short stroll along the maritime boardwalk to the cafes, restaurants and shops. And most importantly it has been built with care, with style and with the finest of materials. All this combines in a fusion of luxury and comfort punctuated with the smells and sounds of the Mediterranean. Villa Bonfill is a uniquely attractive holiday home that offers 7 bedrooms with slide robes with independent air-conditioning, six of which lead onto the the second floor terrace with wonderful views of the sea. The master bedroom has a separate vestuary and walk in wardrobe, a large ensuite bathroom and a kingsize bed. It has separate access to a private terrace with designated patio furniture. There are five other bedrooms on this upper level, four of which enjoy access to the terrace with suites of furniture. These bedrooms share a large and luxurious bathroom. There is a seventh bedroom located on the ground floor of the property with access to another huge bathroom with corner-stone sit-in bath.
On the elevated ground floor you have the kitchen, dining room and light-filled lounge. There is a mandarin themed state of the art kitchen which features top of the range appliances such as rapid induction hob, quantum speed microwave, an American fridge with cooler and freezer and communicates with the dining area which has seating for eight. There is also, leading from the dining area, an additional 'al fresco’ dining table with seating for six. The lounge leads off the dining area and is an open plan expanse with multi language digital channels and a large flat screen TV, leather sofas and french doors that lead onto an extravagant sixty square metres terrace that provides a comfortable nook with patio sofas and coffee table for pre-dinner cocktails and chat. All with views of the sea and the smell of the ocean wafting in the air. And also over looking the blue water of a very large pool. Perfect.
But that does not quite describe the pool. It is a teddy bear pool, one ear is in fact a jacuzzi with seating for eight while the other ear is the fan of walk in steps. This is surrounded by 200 square meters of pool patio and sun lounges. At the opposite side of 'the teddy bear' is the in-ox water cascade that showers the swimmers with a flow of
delicious blue water. So swimming is on the menu as well as the wonderful sea-food served in ‘Amics Del Mar’, a little seafood restaurant that is just 30 meters from the Villa. Yet despite this proximity, the elevated mature gardens and enclosed lawns ensures the utmost privacy and comfort. This gives you the ultimate choice. You can remain in the luxurious privacy of Villa Bonfill or exit the grounds and find yourself on the seafront and just 500 meters from the beach amd restaraunts. If that already does not make for a holiday to remember, you are a stones throw from the seafood shop called Devimar, also a restaurant where everything on the menu is, needless to say, super fresh. Ask for the 'almejas' or cockles in 'salsa marinera' and get ready for the gourmet experience of a life time. Also just a stroll away is Restaurant La Baraca with its fabulous sea front terrace and some of the tastiest rice dishes in the area. All of which says this is a unique holiday mansion in a perfect location and with a sleeping capacity for 14 people. It is not expensive to rent given the capacity and the wonderful holiday experience and memories it will leave you with.
But we are not finished yet. There is a summer kitchen with its own fridge freezer, inside barbecue, dining area and lounge for chilling out and playing games. Located beside it is a simple bathroom which also can be used for showering before going for a swim. There is a also a spacious basement garage with automatic gates and with a capacity for three vehicles. Other features are the automatic shutters that open and close at the press of a button, fly mesh doors, the wrap around lower terrace and gardens that is liberally dotted with sun lounges and the impressive ‘Olive Press’ sculpture that reminds you that you are in one of the greatest olive oil producing regions in Spain.
Then we get onto to L’Ampolla. Well it is famous through-out Spain for its sea-food dishes and is a well known gourmet destination. It hosts a gypsy market every Wednesday morning where you can find anything from a conga drum to an Arabic tapestry, from smoked traditional hams to wonderful country olives. It also has a summer camp for kids every day during the summer from 10 to 1 and 4 to 7. For the adventurous, there is boat hire and fishing, a gym to work out, bicycle hire to cycle into the delta, a municipal swimming pool with the mountains as back-drop, tennis courts, a summer season night-club and lots of sandy beaches where beach volley ball and sun tans are the order of the day.
Tarragona is the capital of the area and has a Roman amphitheater as well as a thriving cultural metropolis.
The Costa Daurada coastline has a wonderful mixture of mountains sweeping down to the coastline, bays and inlets featuring sandy beaches and a climate that does not get oppressively hot in the summer and is temperate and mild during the Winter.
