Enjoy this beautiful spacious 5-bedroom/3 bathroom house in Europe's tropical paradise! Wake to the sounds of the ocean, enjoy the community pool (open year round), relax on the many sunny decks, in the private garden with jacuzzi / hot tub or watch a movie in the home cinema, all with incredible ocean views. Everything for a relaxing vacation in the sun. After a short 5-minute walk to the beach, eat tapas in authentic restaurants and enjoy the Costa Tropical. This is Andalucia at its best!
The space
Park in the private garage, stroll through the large shared tropical garden or take the elevator to the higher level. Take in the breathtaking views over the Mediterranean from the pool area. Walk into Casa 1, we call it Casa Buenavista for its views. Enjoy the sounds and sights of the ocean throughout the spacious house, with the luxury of a large private jacuzzi / hot tub and a fully equipped kitchen. Take in the 320 days of sunshine from your decks or the garden. There are so many places to gaze at the sea. All you hear is the sound of waves, it is so quiet and peaceful - yet only a short walk to the well equipped beach of Velilla.
If you feel inspired, get creative in the top level reading/writing room with a workspace and a sofa.
Enjoy a meal on the beach, cook in the well equipped kitchen, or prepare a barbecue in the garden.
At the end of the day, watch a movie in your home cinema on the big screen (120x120cm), with the Mediterranean as a backdrop, or sip a glass of wine on your terrace with magical ocean views. Wifi and satellite TV help you stay connected.
The entire house is yours! Explore its many levels, the five bedrooms, living and dining room, 'bodega' with home cinema, well equipped kitchen and reading/writing room on the top level. Enjoy the fabulous weather with the large shared garden, the community pool, the private garden with ocean views and hot tub/ jacuzzi, equipped with a barbeque, a couch, sun chairs, loungers and hammocks, the main terrace with dining area, breakfast corner and sun loungers, the walk out deck on the upstairs level off the master bedroom, or the roof top deck, with high table and bar stools, ideal for drinks or breakfast.
The climate on the Costa Tropical is the best in mainland Europe, with very mild and sunny winters and not too hot in summer, thanks to the influence of the Sierra Nevada close by and the ocean. Airconditioning and heating in the bedrooms and living/dining room make you even more comfortable. The sea breeze helps cool things off in summer and the south facing orientation and sunny winters warm the house up in winter.
The area
Almunecar is not your typical tourist place. It is authentic Andalucia, with flamenco, free tapas, history and culture. All just one easy hour's drive on the freeway from the international airport in Malaga.
Enjoy the castle San Miguel, Roman aqueducts, the water park Aquatropic (walking distance), or the world famous Alhambra in Granada (1 hour's drive). Or go skiing or hiking in the Sierra Nevada (1.5 hours drive).

Getting around
Public transport via bus, in summer the tourist train. The beach of Velilla with many restaurants and bars and water sports facilities is a short walk away (less than 5 minutes). The spacious 2-car garage is available just for guests in our house. Roads to Granada, Malaga, Nerja or the Sierra Nevada are well maintained freeways with little traffic, making it easy to get around for trips.
