Binissalem is a beautiful quiet rural village set on the plains of central Majorca. It has a supermarket, patisseries, a small number of restaurants and bars and thats it. It is situated on the internal railway system which means, like us, you can abandon the car and explore the area using the excellent public transport services. Our villa was wonderful, beautifully appointed, good size with an excellent pool and barbecue area. The rental owner was lovely and very helpful. All in all we had a lovely holiday and would recommend this villa and location for those who are looking to get away from the crowds.
