As Jose, the property manager, open the shutters of the living room we were made breathless by the surprise of being right on the white, long beach on the shimmering Mediterranean. The apartment was perfectly clean, very well equipped with everything that one could need, including towels and linen. From the apartment it is only a few steps to the beach and to the warm sea. Later in the afternoon it is refreshing to swim in the large pool adjacent to the property. Within 10 minutes walk is a fabulous 'Arrozeria' preparing delicious paella and local foods. There are 2 others in walking distance. Also in walking distance is a small but well-stocked supermarket which is inexpensive. As well as the beach it is interesting to explore the Albufera, the large Nature Reserve which is just across the road from the apartment. From the car park near the lake one could watch sunset, or take a boat, go bird watching or visit the local villages that are in the rice fields. Each morning we would eat our breakfast on the balcony of the flat watching the sunrise. A 1Euro 50 bus ticket on the #25 took us into the heart of Valencia where we could explore the churches, museums and amazing architecture; walk the river park and enjoy the many bars and night-life. I would recommend this apartment at for anyone who enjoys a beach holiday with a nearby city for art and culture.

This is a lovely apartment with a gorgeous view, close to a beautiful beach. The beach was not busy as it is a way outside of Valencia, it was sandy, the water was crystal clear. The apartment is bigger than it looks on the photos and clean. It has lots of useful things, including a portable beach umbrella, WiFi, area for hanging wet swimsuits etc. It is well connected with a frequent bus into Valencia. There is a kids' playground and two (unheated) pools on-site. It is not noisy (apart from the noise of the sea), so is lovely and peaceful. Jose the gate keeper was also friendly. Downsides: When I asked if we could arrive early, she said no. So we arrived at 4 pm, which was the agreed earliest check-in time. We were arriving at the airport, as she knew, and I wanted to know where to get the 25 bus from as I didn't know Valencia at all. I feel I could have been given some simple instructions. As it is a bus on the edge of town that goes out of town, I obviously wanted the nearest bus stop to town, but didn't know how to find it. I asked this several days before the holiday. The result was a very tiring and stressful time for me and my family upon arrival and this was caused by the communication. We were also waiting outside for some time trying to get a reply to the door buzzer before we contacted the host, worried that after finally finding the place with tired kids and baggage that we couldn't get in. So not great service. I also had to ask twice for the WiFi code - often it is just on display in holiday lets. Would also suggest the apartment needs more pillows - we used the spare blanket to prop up the two on the bed, which were quite flat, and there were no spare ones for the sofa bed. Tupperware (plastic pots) would also be useful. But these are small points, it was a lovely place which I would recommend.

Rental manager comment

Hi Gita, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am happy you had a good time in this apartment front beach in Valencia. I usually do not do, but let me answer about our communication mainly thinking in future guests: I always try to be helpful to my guests and I answered straight your 12 emails. In fact I organised everything for you to check in on arrival taking into account you landed at 10,45h and you would be in apartment four hours before the standard check in time. I sent you the link with all the stops of the bus number 25 because you didn’t explain to me where you were. When I travel with my little kids I always organize everything before hand in order to avoid wandering around with all the suitcases and children. But you asked me when you were already wandering around with your luggage and your kids. There are several stops of the Underground close to several stops of the bus and I did not know where you were. You were coming by bus and we did not know your exact time of arrival. As soon as you told me I called Jose and he went straight to meet you. How long did you wait? May be 3 minutes? Thanks for the suggestion: I will leave a piece of paper with the information about the WiFi and will buy new pillows.

Super lekker appartement.
