All of us - parents, children and grandparents - had an amazing time in this gem of a house. The garden and pool are exquisite, and because the home is situated on top of a hill, it is nicely secluded with impressive views. Our kids felt right at home and we all appreciated the historic and atmospheric feel of the property. Javea turned out to be much nicer than I remembered (having stayed there a couple of times about 30 years a go) so we would really recommend this place over e.g Denia. The owner was exceptionally helpful and pleasant, she helped us out at any moment without ever being obtrusive - best host ever. We will definitely go again.

The villa was perfect for our needs. A great peaceful location but only a short drive to local amenities. It was very well equipped and provided lots of space both in and outdoors with a beautiful spacious garden - great for our 15month toddler to run around in. The sea front in Javea had lots of lovely shops/restaurants with a very family friendly vibe. We would certainly consider coming back.

This property is one of the best self-catering establishments that we have encountered. The villa is situated in a very quiet location, away from main roads and other sources of disturbance. The kitchen is fitted with modern appliances and supplied with more than enough utensils, pots and pans and cutlery for any family party. The living and sleeping accommodation and bathrooms are also fitted out with the highest quality fittings, with super quality towels and bedding. Outside there is a good sized pool and an extensive garden, all of which appears to have been maintained to an equally high standard. Gabi met us on arrival and guided us around the features of the property and was always available if necessary. She immediately put us at our ease and was the perfect hostess - a great start to our stay.

We have just returned from a two week thumbs up stay at the fabulous Vince la Vella. We were there with two families, four adults and three children ranging from ten to 19. From the first point of contact this villa booking was looked after by the five-star Gabi who left no stone unturned to make our stay as fabulous as possible for us all. From the offer to do a shop for us before our arrival to the warm welcome she gave us when we got there. Through out our stay any queries we had were answered without delay, nothing seemed too much trouble. So, onto the villa. This is a beautifully restored 400-year-old finca set a mature lush garden. Let the 400 years not deceive you as it has been superbly restored and would match any new modern building yet keeping the fantastic unique features of the past intact with no expense spared. A well designed modern kitchen with the best of equipment and the very best utensils I have ever had in all the rentals we have ever stayed in……we did contemplate stealing the cherry de-stoner but thought better of it in the end and left it for the next lucky occupier. In addition, there was probably enough crockery to serve a full football team! The house is airy with plenty of comfortable and tastefully designed multiple sitting rooms and dinning areas both inside and out. From various points around the property you have sea views, the best of which is from the upstairs main bedroom straight onto Point San Vincente. The beds and bedlinen were of the highest standard, so no one fears anyone might wake up to a bad night sleep. The pool area has more than enough sun loungers and umbrellas and one of the two outdoor seating areas has sizeable electric barbeque for all your all fresco dining needs. The property is in a quiet residential area of Javea within easy reach of Consum (big supermarket) and a smaller one with longer opening hours. It is close the Arenal (main beach) with its safe white sandy shore, crystal blue water. Here they offer full facilities from beach beds and brollies, lifeguards and water sports to full shopping and restaurants. We have been coming to Javea numerous years and every time we discover new things. There are magnificent walks of varied lengths and strengths all very well marked – from smaller coastal strolls to the more strenuous Monto all will reward you with the most magnificent views. Check out Granadella, Cala Barrace, Cap Prim and the old mills - each are breath taking. We also recommend the old harbour area and the old town centre and even though I HATE jet skis, I had the best afternoon going on a coastal excursion on one. Thanks to the wonderful Gabi this year for making our stay at FInca al Vella and our 2018 Javea trip yet another wonderfully memorable one. Till next time.
