Fabulous yet homely townhouse located in Belfast's coolest district - Ballyhackamore. Tucked away on a serene side street you can enjoy some peace and tranquillity whilst being less than a stones through from the best bars, cafes, restaurants and parks this amazing city has to offer. With two large double bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living/dining room, a sumptuous bathroom with full bath, and a lovely little outdoor courtyard, it really is the perfect home for any occasion. The space Area Our house is located in a great area of the city. It is in right in the middle of Ballyhackamore in East Belfast and so benefits from its close proximity to the many, many restaurants and bars which are just a few metres away on the Upper Newtownards Road. I particularly recommend Yugo East for lovely Asian fusion cuisine, Little Wing for cheap and cheerful massive pizzas, and Cypress Avenue for more Irish cuisine. It is also just on the fringes of the city centre so if you do want to head into the centre of Belfast or visit any of the city's attractions, you can jump on a quick bus, take a very reasonable taxi, or enjoy the walk through all the different neighbourhoods. Victoria Park, Orangefield Park and Stormont Park are all really close by and are lovely places for a morning or evening stroll or run. House The house has been beautifully refurbished with brand new plush a...

Built in the 1860’s, The cottage is a cosy traditional Irish cottage on the edge of the National Trust property Rowallane Gardens. This extra special cottage is nestled into the hillside of an ancient fort in the charming village of Saintfield of County Down. Recently lovingly restored, much care and attention was made to maintain its unique character and features and a stay here is truly an escape into Irish history. The cottage is part of a private estate. The space The cottage is the style of a typical traditional old Irish stone cottage and was built in 1860. The walls of the cottage are very thick and the original cottage consisted of a living room/kitchen with a large fire inglenook area where food would have been prepared, a separate bedroom and a sleeping loft upstairs. It was extended in the 1980’s to add another bedroom and an indoor bathroom. It then fell into disrepair and was left uninhabited for a number if years. During the lockdown we took on the project if fixing it up and extending the kitchen to hold a dining table and modernising it while keeping the old character that we adored. It was a labour of love and we are so happy with the way it all turned out. Guest access The property is off the lane and has ample parking for a number of cars. Other things to note Just a wee note on the upstairs bedroom with the two single beds. It’s pretty cosy and you can stand...
