The Loser ski resort is located in Altaussee (approx. 25 km away) with 34 kilometers of fog-free and snow-sure slopes.

In summer, the Alpenbad Bad Mitterndorf indoor swimming pool or Lake Altaussee offer lots of swimming fun! Popular excursion destinations are Bad Aussee and Hallstatt (14 and 30 km away respectively). There are plenty of shops for your daily needs right in town as well as a good selection of restaurants.
