**Host Information** Pure relaxation in the heart of nature: The rustic holiday home is idyllically situated on a mountain meadow, right at the edge of the forest.

Two beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room offer space for a maximum of four people.

The living room features a cozy corner sofa and, of course, a television.

The absolute highlight is our wood-burning stove, which creates a homely atmosphere with its crackling fire.

A well-equipped kitchen with an oven, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc., makes for a pleasant holiday.

The fire pit outdoors allows for campfire romance.

On the terrace or the sunbathing lawn, you can enjoy the wonderful nature and glorious tranquility.

If you are lucky, you might even see deer grazing in the evening. The accommodation is located between the two health resorts of Hauzenberg and Waldkirchen (Bavaria, Germany), in the border triangle of Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic. Short hikes are possible in the vicinity of the house, for example, to the Oberfrauenwald viewing tower, which offers a fantastic panoramic view.

Longer excursions can be made to the nature reserves of the Bavarian Forest and the Bohemian Forest with their surrounding villages.

For example, you can climb Dreisesselberg mountain, hike in the Bavarian Forest National Park, take a boat trip on the Vltava River, or visit the city of Passau, known as the "City of Three Rivers." The nearest inn is reachable on foot in 5 to 10 minutes. In winter, you will be staying very close to "Geiersberger Gletscher," our small ski area with a toboggan lift, 2 button lifts, a children's area, ski rental, and an inn.

This area offers excellent learning and practice opportunities, especially for less experienced skiers.

However, snowboarders and tobogganers will also get their money's worth here.

We would also be delighted to welcome you to the "Geiersberger Hütte" for a hearty snack.

If you are looking for challenging slopes, you can reach Austria's largest ski area outside the Alps, Hochficht, in about 30 minutes. A parking space belongs to the house and can be used free of charge.

In winter, if there is sufficient snow, the house cannot be accessed directly.

It must be paid separately. During the high season and the Christmas-New Year season, bookings of at least 4 nights are required. Short-term bookings are only possible during the low season.

A short-stay surcharge of €25 to €30 per night will be charged for stays of 2 or 3 nights. A deposit of 30% of the total amount may be requested. Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival are free of charge.

Cancellations between 30-14 days before arrival will be charged at 50% of the total cost.
