Ferienhaus Goldscheid features 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate toilet.
The highlights are the natural swimming pond and the outdoor sauna, both of which are free for our guests to use! The natural swimming pond is inviting not only in summer but also in the cooler seasons when you use the fire sauna in the garden.
On a stroll through the enchanting natural garden, with predominantly native shrubs and flowers, there is always something new to discover. The building, formerly used for agriculture, is partly rustic-rural, and thanks to the clay plaster and mineral natural paints (Auro), the house has a very good, natural indoor climate.

The valleys of the Rhine, Moselle, Lahn, and Ahr, with the cities of Cologne, Bonn, Linz, Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, Neuwied, Koblenz, Limburg, all of which are easily accessible, have much to offer.
You can find a wealth of tips for regional tours, excursions beyond the region, and events on the website of the Verbandsgemeinde: www.rengsdorf-waldbreitbach.de. At Ferienhaus Goldscheid, you will stay in a very pleasant atmosphere with a view of nature.
Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living and dining area allow for an unobstructed panoramic view.
We hope you feel comfortable in the Vorderer Westerwald, and that you enjoy Ferienhaus Goldscheid and the entire region: there is much to discover and experience! As soon as you leave the house, which is located on the outskirts of the village, you can set off on numerous walking and hiking trails, or by bike, of course! The entire region – from the East Eifel volcanism beyond the romantic Middle Rhine to all the attractive destinations in the Westerwald – invites you to embark on discovery tours. Despite the secluded location of Goldscheid, the important and pleasant things in life are close by: groceries at "Nah und Gut" about 1,200 m away, the restaurant "Paganetti," popular in the region, about 800 m away (closed Mondays and Tuesdays), Hotel and Restaurant Fernblick in Hümmerich (5 km), as well as the shops and restaurants in Waldbreitbach in the Wiedtal, about 5.0 km away, a children's playground on the outskirts of Hochscheid (500 m), a swimming pool and indoor pool in Hausen (5 km), a ski and hiking lodge on Marlbergkopf (7 km), and much more. Once you have familiarized yourself with the immediate surroundings, you may wish to explore the region on day trips.
Goldscheid is a very convenient starting point for this, as you can reach Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, the Moselle, or the upper Westerwald within an hour.

It is wonderful to be able to dive into the cool water after leaving the hot sauna.
In the storage room next to the kitchen, you will find foam swimming aids that make staying in the deep water safer. The use of the fire sauna, located in the garden, is free of charge.
However, we have placed a piggy bank as a voluntary "wood donation box" because the prices for wood and wood products, such as wood briquettes used in the sauna, have increased enormously.
Since not all guests use the sauna, it would not be fair to include a contribution for firewood in the overnight rate. If you wish to use the sauna, please bring sauna towels and any other desired items with you. Before your arrival, we will send our guests an informative email in good time.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via the provided email address. Ferienhaus Goldscheid can be rented weekly, from Saturday to Saturday. The price is €125.00 per night (€875.00 per week), regardless of the number of people. All ancillary costs, as well as bed linen, towels, and final cleaning, are already included! There are no additional charges for sauna use; we kindly request a voluntary contribution to our "wood fund." The winter price (from December to April) is only €95.00 per night (€665.00 per week). Arrival and departure times are as follows: Check-in: from 3:00 PM Check-out: by 10:30 AM Check-in is uncomplicated via a key safe.
In good time before arrival, we will send the tenants the code. At the end of your holiday, simply place the key back in the safe.
