The Marina Azzurra Resort is located in the municipality of Lignano Sabbiadoro, on the left bank of the Tagliamento River, about 2 kilometres from the estuary that marks the natural border between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Veneto.

It is a unique oasis of peace that extends over a green area of 120,000 m², just a few steps from the Punta Verde animal park in Lignano Riviera and 2.5 km from the beach and the centre of Lignano Sabbiadoro and Bibione.

This exclusive holiday complex, consisting of houseboats, is inspired by Dutch and Canadian floating villages.

Inside the holiday complex you will find a large green area with a multifunctional synthetic pitch: ideal for five-a-side football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, bowls and table tennis.

There is also a shaded playground with a sandy floor and fun themed games for the little ones.

The spacious pool area with children's and adult pools, as well as a wellness area with water loungers, a whirlpool and neck massage fountains, is certainly worth a mention.

The spacious sun terrace is equipped with sun loungers and parasols.

A kiosk with snack bar and a mini supermarket cater for your physical well-being.

There is also a public barbecue area.

Electric boats, canoes and bicycles can be hired directly from the resort.

The resort also has a communal washing machine, tumble dryer and iron in an extra room in the public area. The 65 square metre, two-storey Houseboat River offers space for a maximum of 6 people and is accessible from land via a wooden jetty.

This boat is located directly on the banks of the river.

The accommodation has a bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds.

If required, the double sofa bed in the living area offers two more sleeping options.

The well-equipped kitchenette is located in the living area on the upper deck of the boat and is equipped with a ceramic hob, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, an Italian capsule coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment.

The bathroom has a washbasin, WC, shower and hairdryer.

The spacious terrace on the upper deck offers a fantastic view of the river and is furnished with a table, chairs, a parasol and two loungers.

Barbecues are permitted at the communal barbecue areas.

The journey time from the Italian border is approx. 4 hours.

The beach of Lignano Riviera is 2.5 kilometres from the Marina Azzurra Resort.

Guests can reach the beach area by bike thanks to a cycle path surrounded by greenery, or by car.

Bicycles can be rented directly at the resort thanks to the city bike and e-bike hire service. FAMILY-FRIENDLY The resort is very family-friendly.

There is a children's pool and a lovely shaded playground for younger guests.

Baby cots and high chairs can be hired.

The holiday complex is car-free and therefore offers children the opportunity to move around the complex without danger. LEISURE AND SPORTS Inside the holiday complex you will find a large green area with a multifunctional field with a synthetic surface: ideal for five-a-side football, tennis, volleyball, basketball, boccia and table tennis.

In addition to the spacious pool area, you can hire bicycles, canoes and electric boats directly from the resort.

Many sporting activities and tournaments are also organised on the beach. SHOPPING The resort has a mini supermarket where you can find items for everyday use.

There are also other shops in the neighbourhood. CATERING The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen with a ceramic hob, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, an Italian capsule coffee machine, a kettle, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment.

If you would like to indulge in culinary delights, you have the option of using a delivery service.

Breakfast and dinner are conveniently delivered to your accommodation. PETS Pets are very welcome at the Marina Azzurra Resort.

Registration of your pet is mandatory.

Please carry your pet's health booklet with proof of vaccinations.

Dogs are not allowed in the swimming pool and solarium area or in the dining room on the river boat.

In Lignano Riviera, directly at the mouth of the Tagliamento River, there is the "Spiaggia di Duke", a well-equipped beach area where four-legged friends are also welcome.

The sunshades are spaced far apart, the sand is always cleaned and dog loungers, food bowls and leads, as well as showers and dog waste bags are available.
