Discover our cosy, fully-equipped apartment with a pool terrace, parking, and ocean views in the town of Fuencaliente.
The accommodation features a fully equipped living room and kitchen, two bedrooms with two single beds each, a full bathroom fitted with a shower, and a spacious terrace offering ocean views.
Highlights include a communal pool and free parking. Amenities include Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer, an ironing board and iron, and ample storage space, among other conveniences.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, ceramic hob, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer, and all kitchenware. The spacious terrace is furnished with patio furniture and sun loungers, overlooking the ocean, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for guests.
The location is tranquil, surrounded by nature and open to the sea. A 5-minute drive away is the town centre, which offers all the amenities, including restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a health centre. Fuecaliente is located on the southern slope of La Palma, in the southernmost part of the island.
Its volcanic nature, its Marine Reserve, its wines, trails, and beaches make this town a must-visit on the beautiful island. The town has beaches where you can enjoy the sea that laps the shores of La Palma.
One of the most unique is Playa de Echentive, the newest on the island, formed in 1971 by the eruption of the Teneguía volcano.
This wild-looking beach hides spectacular natural pools, protected from the waves, where you can relax. For visitors seeking an adventure, the Route of the Volcanoes culminates in the municipality of Fuencaliente, home to volcanoes such as San Antonio and Teneguía, which are famous and emblematic of the island.
The San Antonio Volcano Visitor Centre is an excellent place for children to learn about the nature of volcanoes.
The centre also has a slight dome for astronomical observations and a simulation of ancient seasonal astronomical markers (solstices and equinoxes). For mountain running enthusiasts, the municipality is also known for being the starting point of Transvulcania, one of the world's top mountain races.
The scene is magical, as numerous runners gather in the middle of the night with their lights on to begin the course. The location is ideal, but it's not well-served by public transportation.
There is good taxi service, but it's best to have your own vehicle.
