Glamping in the Lake District

One of three identical glamping pods situated on a farm in the heart of the Lake District National Park. The farm is positioned atop a hill with fabulous views in all directions, including views of Blencathra, one of the Lake District's most renowned peaks and the Pennines. The modern insulated Pods have been installed to maximise the views, whether inside or outside, on the wooden decking. Inside, the pod has been furnished with quality items, including comfy sofas, a king-size double bed and a modern kitchen area with an electric hob. You'll have no trouble cooking a meal for two on the nights you're not visiting the local eateries in Keswick, Pooley Bridge or, indeed, Penrith, all just a short drive away. The shower room is spacious. There's no bath; instead, a large shower cubicle with a main-plumbed rain shower head and towels are provided for guests. In the living area of the pod, you have a comfy L-shaped sofa and a wall-mounted Freesat TV. Relax in this iconic 1957 American Airstream, situated in the grounds of an 18th Century residence, which is conveniently situated between the villages of Ings and Staveley and only 2.5 miles from Windermere. The Airstream has been permanently placed and with such benefits from fresh running water, electricity and a plumbed-in loo. Wooden decking to the front makes an ideal space to have a BBQ or read a book. The Airstream offers a comfortable double bed with fresh bedding, a WC, a separate shower and a cosy seating area. The wooden work surfaces and abundance of storage space make for an uncluttered space. A fridge, microwave and tea/coffee making facilities are provided.
