Situated high up near Cemaes Head, the highest point on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and overlooking Cardigan Island, this detached cottage enjoys views across the Teifi Estuary and further out to sea. Dolphins are sometimes seen in the bay but are regular visitors just further north at New Quay, where you can take dolphin spotting boat trips and are seldom disappointed. The owners have made every effort to ensure that all your needs are catered for, outside is a table and chairs which also takes in the amazing views and catches the sun and indoors everything you need is provided for. The cottage is situated just under a mile from the Blue Flag beach of Poppit Sands, which is patrolled by lifeguards from May to September and is also a base for the Cardigan RNLI lifeboat and shop. There is also a popular beach café and ice cream kiosk. Cardigan is some four miles away and the fully restored site of Cardigan Castle is well worth a visit and it boasts a restaurant/café which is recommended. The town itself offers a good selection of shops, restaurants and galleries....
