This traditional Canarian Casa is the final addition to our apartments at Finca Las Gaviotas. It has all the same shared facilities and ambience as El Teide and La Fuente which have been greatly appreciated by our guests, (please read the reviews on these properties and see what our guests say about their stay at Finca Las Gaviotas),but it is built high on the side of the barranco in direct line with the Atlantic Ocean. It’s where the kestrels fly and it has uninterrupted views of the coast, Mount Teide and surrounding fincas. Anyone who is interested in ornithology and the study of Kestrels will surely love it. The apartment has its own large terrace with amazing veiws and has just been completely renovated with a traditional Canarian kitchen including new saucepans, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils so you can make yourself completely at home and cook your favourite dishes. The bathroom is also new with towels provided, and there is a comfy sofa bed for a 3rd adult or child. There is a separate terrace which has a natural stone pool, shower and WC. Finally the time has come! Our dream has become reality. We have a ca 200 years old Canarian house converted into a holiday apartment. It was important for us to preserve as much of the original as possible, so that the character of this old house could remain. I think we succeeded. The cottage is about 40 square meters, has a small bathroom with shower, toilet and a washing machine. The kitchen is integrated into the living room and equipped with everything necessary. We have attached importance to gaining a certain generosity through minimalism. The house has a heater. We live in a typical rural Canarian village above Icod de los Vinos, have two dogs and a cat. Even your dogs are welcome! By car you are in about 7 minutes up in the woods, and also on foot there are beautiful ways to discover. If you like to holiday outside the mass tourism and the castle, is just right for us. For hikers and people who love nature our domicile is just right....
