Methodology

To find out the best destinations in Spain to visit during shoulder season and every month of the year, we took a list of over 100 of the country’s most loved and most visited destinations. We analysed each of these on their average daytime temperature, average UV rating and average discomfort of humidity.

• Average daytime temperature: This is ranked in proximity to 27 degrees, which studies have revealed as the optimum holiday temperature.
• Discomfort of humidity: 0/(None), Low, Moderate, High, Very High and Extreme relates to how the humidity feels.
