This detached villa is in a quiet cul-de-sac yet is an easy stroll away from the centre of upmarket Begur with its bars, restaurants ,shops and Riera beach is 5 mins away with clifftop walks and beach restaurants.

The villa itself is built on 4 levels with modern design and contemporary furnishings,ideal for a self catering family split level living/dining area wih double height ceiling is stylishly furnished.Patio doors open to a generous terrace with seating for 10 people.

All 5 bedrooms are generous in size and in comfort-the master bedroom is en-suite with dressing room and outside terrace.A second double bedroom is also en-suite and has sliding doors leading to a large sunny terrace accessing the pool/garden area.A large family bedroom has bunkbeds-the children love it!

The outdoor terraces invite you to cook and dine al fresco while enjoying the romantic sea,pool and castle views!The pool is 8m x 4m with poolside garden and BBQ area is large and ideal for children.Enjoy!

Notes
The villa has a large well maintained planted and enclosed garden with lemon and olive private heated pool measures 8m x 4m with tiled sunloungers are provided-ideal for sunbathing followed by a leisurely dip!
The pool can be lit at night to enhance the holiday ambiance.Nearby is the BBQ area with wooden patio table and chairs.
The terrace outside bedroom 2 is large and ideal for catching the morning large upper raised terrace off the living area has an extendable table and seating for 12-the best seats in the house-enjoy the sea view!
A 5 minute drive from the villa is the sheltered sandy beach at Sa Riera.Quaint restaurants, bars and shops are plentiful.Clifftop walks with breathtaking views will work up an appetite for the seafood available in the beachside restaurants.A safe family beach.
Small coves and sandy bays abound in this area such as Sa Tuna,Fornells and within a 10-15 minute drive.
Huge sandy beach at Playa De Pals-you can walk for miles!Good windsurfing here too.Scuba diving and snorkelling are excellent also.
Begur is a pretty medieval village with cobbled streets and white washed houses draping the hillside below the ruins of a stone castle.
Catalan bars and restaurants specialising in seafood surround the central pedestrianised square.Service is friendly and children are welcomed and cherished by the Catalans.Locally produced wines compliment the excellent food. Vinyards producing these wines will welcome you to wine tasting.
There are excellent supermarkets and specialist fishmonger and butcher shops.Freshly baked bread is available in many shops.
The local park is just round the corner to the villa and is host to many fiestas and fieras during the summer months.
Outdoor markets are commonplace in many local villages-on Wednesday Begur holds its own,selling fresh local produce and clothes/shoes.
For the fit among us,local activities include cycling,diving,fishing,golf,mountain biking,sailing,swimming,tennis,walking and wind surfing.
The area is renouned for terrific diving with many local companies organising diving trips. This area is part of a marine reserve and is treated with respect.Fabulous beach and cliff walking.

We fell in love with Begur after spending our holidays there in 2006 and bought our lovely villa soon enjoy the child friendly relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere in Begur and the choice of wonderful coves and beaches to weather is also a bonus!We love to bring our extended family and friends to Villa Rosa and spend wonderful holidays in hop you will enjoy your stay also!

beautiful villa but no pool heating as paid for

I must say this villa was beautiful and in a great location; just a short walk from Begur village.The house and garden were well kept. Inside, the villa was comfortable, well appointed and well stocked with all the items listed in the facilities. The owner had been very helpful and friendly during the booking stage. There were a few teething problems as we were the first visitors of the season. Firstly,and most importantly to our holiday, the pool was not heated. The BBQ and the sun beds were in need of a heavy duty clean; chores which we undertook on the first day of our stay.The owner says she is hoping to put these things right by the time the next visitors arrive. Would have liked to have had a swim and booked this villa as it was one of a very few to have a heated pool. Have enquired about a refund of heating costs but still waiting for a reply.
