The city of Tarragona, capital of the province of the same name, is considered the most important Roman town in Spain. Tarragona sits with the autonomous community of Catalonia, on the beautiful Costa Dorada. The city by the sea has a wealth of cultural monuments and buildings, including the Roman amphitheatre. Tarragona has excellent amenities, beaches, golf, and the largest theme park in Spain located in neighbouring Salou. Tarragona is also well placed to explore the rest of the province.
