Our 16th century Mas was renovated in 2016 and is located on 18ha, near village of Agullana in mountains. From the balconies you have magnificent views over the mountains as well as bay of Roses (seaside). We are close to France (Perpignan 45km) and only 25km from Figueras - town that hosts Dali museum and many other POI. We have 4 bedrooms of which 3 have en-suite bathrooms, a large dining area, completely modernised kitchen and separate living area. The pool is situated on south side if house with large seating and dining area. On north side balcony, you can enjoy viewing bay of Roses and Mediterranean on this smaller dining area. The house is surrounded with paddocks and barrandilla with our horses, chicken coop and vegetable garden, which our guests can enjoy. The house has internet. Things to do; relax and enjoy the scenery, walk along GR11 which passes our house. Enjoy watersports at nearby lake. We are in Agullana, a small town near the border with France. We are 30 minutes from Cadaques, Roses, Llança or Port de la Selva 15 minutes from Figueras and the AVE station and 40 minutes from Girona Airport. Exclusive use of the house and its surroundings. 6 bedrooms, 4 of them suite, a total of 6 bathrooms, 2 large rooms with TV and Wifi, a fireplace for the winter months, a traditional kitchen, a huge terrace overlooking the village, the mountains, the fields and sea. A separate porch with pool (from June to September) ideal for parties with shower, sink, tables and chairs. Casa Palou has the most beautiful location, right at the start of the mountains, so you have a beautiful view of the valley in one direction, and in the other direction the Pyrenees rise, with the property's olive trees and vineyards as a beautiful "capet" in front. The house is ideal for both relaxation and activities. For the children, the huge garden with swimming pool and many other things is a hit, just as you can feed the property's cute donkeys, as their paddock is adjacent to the garden. By the curly road, you find just 1.2 km. from the house the nice small village where there is a restaurant and a small supermarket and a few other shops. There are plenty of additional shopping opportunities in La Jonquera, 6 km. away. The sweet owners Esther and Marc also live on the property, but have their own terrace and garden to another side, so all facilities are 100% for your private use. They give you complete privacy, but will of course be happy to help if you have questions or need tips for restaurants, hikes or anything else in the local area. Casa Palou has a large living room, decorated with rustic antiques perfectly matching the rustic farmhouse. In the large open space is also a long dining table.
