Cal Magí is located in the village of Lárboçar, in the municipality of Avinyonet del Penedès (Alt Penedès). The oldest residents of the area say it is the oldest house in the area. For many decades, it stood alone on the Roques plateau as the only building there. It was in the 1970s that other buildings began to appear on the plateau. During the recent renovation, a roof tile was found between the chimney and the roof with the year 1779 engraved on it. This was most likely the year it was built.
