The house is located near the village of Taucho. Away from the most frequented tourist areas are the villages of Taucho and Ifonche. All of them are located in the upper part of Adeje and display traditional Tenerife architecture. If you are looking for something to see and do in South Tenerife that is peaceful, I recommend taking the hiking routes offered by these three villages. These are less frequented trails but with beautiful landscapes. The duration and difficulty of these paths are accessible to anyone, so you can also walk them if you are traveling with children. You can reach Taucho by car or taxi. (On some map services, you can select the "direction" function, which will show you which buses you need. There is also the website of the bus company TITSA). Please note that these are mountain paths. In the photo gallery, you can find pictures showing the way to the house. The town does not have a shop. Therefore, if possible, we recommend visiting a grocery store on your way from the airport.
