Book it as your base, and come and explore this area around Maureillas and Ceret in the Languedoc-Roussillon, one of the lesser known regions of France. There is so much to see and do, or just relax with a glass of wine round the pool in the vineyards or at the beach... The villa is centred on 1/2 an acre of gardens with a large swimming pool big enough to play in, and with a proper deep end (1.8m). Parking is available for several cars on the drive.
