In the autumn of 2019, all the residential units were completely renovated and lovingly designed in traditional Canarian style, each individually and unique in style and equipment. The organic finca "Las Tenerias" (translated "the tanners") is 230 years old and has a lot of charm and an incredible attraction. It is part of the small hamlet Arteara and lies in the middle of the nature reserve and biosphere reserve in the south of the island. The finca is surrounded by an impressive landscape, whose green palm and reed form a fascinating contrast to the hard rock formations. Right and left rise the almost 1000 meter high, rugged cliffs of Amurga and the view opens onto the beautiful valley of Fataga ("Baranco de Fataga", also called Valley of the 1000 palm trees) up to the nearly 2000 meter high volcanic peaks in the center of the island.
