La Barraca de Farena is a cottage located in a natural environment, known as Farena, in the heart of the Costa Brava, 1 km from the village of Palafrugell and 1.5 km from the beaches of Llafranc, Calella and Tamariu. It is open all year round and can accommodate up to four guests and two pets (on request). The surface of the house is 60 m² house + 15 m² porch and has an extensive fully fenced private garden of 8,500 m². We are both artists with a passion for arts and crafts, so there are original pieces everywhere. As well as being within walking distance of one of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Brava, it is only a few minutes drive to the charming and historic town of Begur. Wonderful restaurants and bars, excellent shopping and even the ruins of the castle can be enjoyed here. We have two dogs, both rescued from appalling conditions, we have spent a lot of time and effort rehabilitating them. We decided to open our home to guests with dogs, as we know how difficult it is to find a rental that will accept them. You can walk to the beach and back, but, if you want to visit the town of Begur, you would have to climb a steep hill.... just to fit in nicely!...
