The "Yazmina", the former stables of Finca Creativa, is built entirely of LAVASTEIN and is located in the centre of the small Canarian village of Uga, in the south of the island of Lanzarote. The village is mainly characterised by cubic, traditional white houses. The village looks like an oasis in the bizarre volcanic landscape of the south of the island. The beach of Playa Quemada is only 5km away, La Geria and the Timanfaya National Park are close by, and there are several typical island restaurants, bars, a supermarket, public transport links and the salmon smokehouse, which is famous for Uga. The village chapel with an open bell tower is worth a visit and the small but friendly traditional market (SA/SO), with local produce, is always worth a short stroll. The "Yazmina" is characterised by its black lava stone façade. Blue, white, the green of the palm trees and plants and the many flowers give it cheerfulness and its unique charm. Only natural materials have been used. Terracotta, wooden floors, handmade tiles, wooden ceilings, Arabic metal lamps, wooden furniture, hand-painted pictures and many selected details have been lovingly and creatively put together and create a cosy, Mediterranean atmosphere to feel at home in.
