It's difficult to think of a box that The Old Abbey does not tick or a member of your group who will not be in heaven here. Children will fall in love with the built-in quad bunks in the pool room.Sleeps 16 in 6 bedrooms. Given the bunk beds, the house is not suited to groups of more than 9 adults. Please get in touch if you have a large group with any special requirements. Cooks will appreciate the enormous Aga in the upstairs kitchen and the huge table where the fruits of that labour can be enjoyed by all. Grown ups can then retire to the sitting room, open the bi-fold windows and watch the sunset over Porth Diana or may want to break out into the downstairs conservatory while the kids chill in their own gaming room. Fair weather chefs will love the downstairs BBQ kitchen with access straight to the outside barbeque area. Tired cooks or those in search of a good pint will love the Seacroft, just 50 yards away- a great pub that does excellent food. The hot outdoor shower is great for those planning a dip in the hot tub, just finishing a workout in the on-site gym/yoga studio or washing off after a dip in the sea. Sandy beaches are only a stone's throw away- you just need to choose between the quieter cove of Porth Diana or the livelier main beach. Boating types will love the the close proximity of the sailing club while the gastro's can take the 1/4 mile walk across the sandy ...

Ease into heaven – at Gwynaeth Gwyn you just want to sit, or float and stare. The feel is remote, the views are superb. From the hot tub you look across the bay and the sandy beach is just a short walk along a footpath. To reach this dramatic spot you wind slowly up through bucolic lanes to land at your delightful space. A large, lawned garden has uninterrupted views over the bay and there are delightful areas hidden away such as the orchard and the woodland firepit area. Pour a long lazy drink while the children tumble about on the lawn or splash in the pool. The hot tub is great for a soak at dusk and the terrace with sea views is a yoga stretch from the house. Gather around in the shade of the trees with blankets at the fire pit -a great spot for a night cap under the stars, Inside the spacious kitchen has everything you need to cook for a full house and those views follow you everywhere! Fling open the patio doors and soak up the sea - the Aga will share the load and the chef will love the induction hob on the work island and space to chop the salad. Outside are several places to eat. This is a house made for groups (no single sex groups please) – decide if you wish to sit in front of the wood burner in the cosy downstairs living room or sit and admire the birds eye views from the incredible upstairs sitting room. There’s a handy bar area here, and a conservatory garden roo...

A twisty lane leads to this coastal treasure which is steeped in history. So park up next to the lawn, breath in the salty air and the views as you stroll down the stone flagstones to your cottage. Cable Cottage is sturdy, built from Welsh stone and has walls to withstand a storm or two. It is anchored to the site like the huge cable it sits next to that was installed by its very foundations in 1871. The transatlantic cable was laid from this beach to Dublin to allow messages to be sent quickly. For the curious, the undersea cable is still there and can be partially seen under the beach if you seek it out. The Cable has been beautifully revived since then to now and become a blissful bolthole by the sea. You'll be smitten the moment you step in. Enter the light-filled hallway with the ship-panelled walls and beautifully crafted steps with brass rails leading to the first floor. These beautiful features are believed to have been saved from the HMS Mauretania. The children can scamper as you relax in the big farmhouse kitchen, a sociable and bright room with wooden floors designed for feeding the crowds. Sunlight floods in through the arched windows and the views over the lawn provide food for thought. It is fabulously equipped and large enough for cooks to thrive and have helpers too! A grand table to seat eight, a dresser laden with crockery, a battery of pans and a cosy AGA pr...

The original cottage is now the vaulted sitting room with whitewashed stone walls, a huge chimney built of beach pebbles and ship's timbers which contains the wood burning stove with sofa's and armchairs gathered around. An upturned wooden boat suspended from the ceiling has been repurposed to provide lighting to this room. French windows lead outside to the sunken terrace and beach beyond and internal doors lead through to the kitchen. This is a large social space with dining areas and a raised sun lounge which feels like being on the bridge of a ship about to launch into Porth Trefadog. A staircase leads up from this area to the two first floor bedrooms- a King room and a twin room which share a bathroom. The King room has french windows out on to the balcony where the views, unobstructed by the glass balustrades, are outstanding. Follow the corridor from the sitting room in the opposite direction past the old torpedo and you'll come to the three ground floor bedrooms (one of which has the crog loft above), the utility room and the hot tub glass room beyond. Mirrorring the sun lounge on the other side of the house, this also provides incredible views over the beach and sea and is a great spot to sit and relax either pre or post a dip in the hot tub which is immediately outside. The hot tub is perched on a raised area of terrace so that it has views across the beach and sea. T...

It's a house you'll certainly look forward to returning to though! Step in to the entrance hall and there are clues to what awaits- its fresh and modern but with carefully curated and contrasting pieces of furniture and bold decor. Sleek and modern blends perfectly with traditional and to paraphrase one of the artists who inspired the design, William Morris, everything here is either beautiful or functional. To the left from the entrance hall, the west wing has four ground floor bedrooms (three of which are ensuite) while the west wing has a further two ground floor bedrooms, a family bathroom and a beautiful sitting room with direct access to the sauna and hot tub outside. Follow the glazed corridor from the entrance hall and another surprise awaits- a games room with huge glass doors to two sides enabling you to bring the outside in on fine days. Upstairs is sociable and stylish- the kitchen and dining areas are large and airy thanks to the vaulted ceilings and bi-fold doors to both balconies. There is everything you could need to whip up a feast and deliveries of lobster and crab can be arranged- fresh from the sea beneath your balcony! Or for the special night of the holiday, why not ask us about arranging a talented local private chef to cater for you. The views over the bay, beach and headlands are sublime.
