A stone built, ground floor detached cottage located in the owner’s grounds, in the famous Dales village of Arncliffe, the original setting for Emmerdale Farm. The cottage itself boasts its own history, based on having been part of an award-winning garden at the Chelsea Flower show just a few years ago. An ideal location for a romantic break or a great base just to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in this walker’s paradise. The biking is also excellent and The Bothy provides a secure bike area. With beautiful modern styling throughout, the owners have gone to great lengths to provide a luxurious and well thought out holiday home of considerable merit and style. Small and cute best describes the open-plan L shaped layout with a modern kitchen greeting guests at the main entrance. Walk into the living area where there is a king-size bed at the centre of the room, two comfortable easy chairs and a small dining area. Cosy throughout with high ceilings, a lovely oak floor, contemporary lighting and the added benefit of lovely views of the surrounding gardens. A superb en-suite facility with walk-in shower unit provides the icing on the cake for this lovely little holiday home. Immediately outside the main entrance door is a patio area enclosed by a traditional dry-stone wall and is a great place to sit, enjoy dining al-fresco and take in some of the surround...

Quirky, a tucked away gem, an amazing little space. Those are just some of the words we’ve used recently to try and describe Minster Loft, but really it’s far better to come and see it for yourself to truly appreciate this one bedroom loft apartment. Located at the top of a historical listed building, the apartment is also right next door to the birthplace of the infamous Guy Fawkes. So you are immediately immersed in the history of the city. It’s also incredibly well positioned too. Just stepping out of the door puts you within a two minute walk of all the attractions in the city and also the renowned shopping streets of Stonegate and Low Petergate are literally on the doorstep. There are many period features on show within the apartment that are apparent as soon as you open the door. They are also very nicely complimented by the choice of furnishings throughout. There is a stylish galley kitchen complete with electric oven and hob and also a dining table to seat up to 4 for dinner. The lounge area also has a wall mounted LCD TV where you can relax with a luxury coffee from the coffee machine provided. The bedroom has a stunning view of York Minster, you feel like you can reach out and touch it. There is also a very modern looking shower room located opposite the bedroom. Minster Loft at a glance - Tasteful presentation and period features throughout - Fantastic York Minster v...
