Holiday villa for rent in Gaucin

This spacious country house is situated 1KM below the village and is reached by car on an unmade track. The track is steep and rough in places but perfectly passable; it keeps the traffic away. We do recommend a family sized car in order to negotiate the track.
The centre of the house is a large living/dining room with a log burning Nordic stove (with glass doors). The house has full central heating. For the summer months we have a large central ceiling fan in the main room with portable fans for the bedrooms.
Stairs lead up to a separate WC on the landing. The master bedroom has stunning views, a double bed (160 cm. mattress with lumbar support), A bed for under fives and/or a cot can be added, both provided on request. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with double sinks, bath/shower, bidet and a heated towel rail.

From the kitchen, a short corridor leads to the bedrooms, the lower of which has one double and two single beds.
Visitors with children will find a range of toys such as Lego, building books, rocking horse, puzzles and a children’s library. There are children’s videos+ children’s DVD. Double doors lead onto the terrace.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, china, glasses and cutlery for eight people. There are plenty of saucepans, cooking gear and all the rest that make a house a home, including toys, games, and an interesting variety of books. Double doors leads to the shaded terrace with barbecue, outdoor fridge, electric grill/hotplate, built in sofas, table for 8 for al fresco dining and deck-chairs for sunbathing. We offer a cot and highchair.
There is a downstairs bathroom with bath/shower and WC.
An washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board are provided.

Satellite TV (Free-Sat with all UK digital channels), WiFi, a Mac-Powerbook G4 for the use of the internet, a DVD and video with an interesting selection of films for all the family, Hi Fi with cable for MP3 players and iPods etc, Radio, CD player and iPod dock/radio alarm clock.
We also have a full selection of Spanish terrestrial programs.

The property is supplied with mains water, 220 volt Electricity and piped Gas, for heating and hot water.

Next to the main house is the original bread oven and beyond that is the charming small stone house adjacent to the pool. This has a double bed and is an ideal spot for a cool siesta. This part of the Finca is gated.
The pool is just a few meters away across the shaded patio with wonderful views to the south and west. Around the pool are terraces on different levels, some shaded by olive and carob trees, others perfect for sun bathing. the pool-side is gated and can be made safe for children, You’ll find deck chairs and outdoor furniture around the pool, as well as a hammocks between the olive trees.
The pool has a length of 12 1/2 metres and a width of 5 metres (40’ long 16’ wide). At the deep end the pool is safe for diving with a depth of 2.5 meters to 1.4 metres at the shallow end ( 8.1’ and 4.5 shallow end) and may also be enjoyed at night with its underwater lighting.

Jerez de la Frontera; We also let our beautiful apartment in the historical part of Jerez. You may want to consider a combined holiday. Jerez is a great place to enjoy flamenco, visits to the Sherry bodegas, the horses and cultural trips to Seville, Puerto Santa Maria and Cadiz.

The price is for the whole property p. w. all inclusive. A 2nd. cot and highchair can be rented @ 15Euros each per stay. Changeover day is Friday, flexible in low season. Maid service at the end of rental and 4 hrs. on Saturdays for stays over a week (except long lets). Babysitting and extra cleaning and/or catering can be arranged, price on request. Trips to Tangier, guided walks, painting lessons can be organised.
Payment:Sterling cheques, Euro and/or Sterling transfers. We also accept deposit payments via PayPal in Sterling or Euros. Balance payments via Paypal have a 3.5% surcharge.
