Welcome to Mijas on the Costa Del Sol.
This typical white walled Andalucian village dates back over 3000 years and invites you to explore its charm and history.
The local Spanish people, all descended from just seven families, are warm and friendly, just like the climate and the welcome!
You can wander the small streets and relax completely or take a trip to Gibraltar, people watch in Puerto Banus, visit Ronda in the mountains or travel to the Alhambra Palace in Granada.
Calle San Sebastian is probably the most photographed street in mainland Spain and is typical of the traditional white walled many quaility shops and resturants are a pleasure to experience and we thoroughly recomend a wine tasting at the Malaga Wine Museum,located on this street.
The views from the well maintained gardens surrounding the only square bullring in the world offer magnificent panoramas, and on a clear day you can see Gibraltar and the Atlas Mountain range of North Africa.
Mijas Pueblo is just 20 minutes drive from Malaga Airport which is just over two hours flight time from Bristol International Airport.

Set in beautiful Nuevo Pueblo Mijas this holiday accomodation boasts three double bedrooms, a familly shower room and an ensuite shower, a living/dining area and a newly fitted kitchen. The upper terrace has wiews of both the sea and coast to Fuengirola and the mountains, whist the smaller lower terrace off the main bedroom is completely private and secluded.
The house is in the style of a duplex whereby the living accommodation is at the top and you go downstairs to the cooler bedrooms. The terrace is off the kitchen/lounge.
Situated about 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village, it is not necessary to hire a car unless you like to go sight seeing or you like the beach. All amenities are within easy reach, there are a number of restaurants and bars on the street below including a good chicken take away. The closest supermarket is only a few minutes walk and there are many other shops in the town, you just have to explore every avenue.
There are buses that run from the town to Fuengirola and other places if you want to venture further.

If you just want to chill out for a week or two with a gin and tonic and a good book, whilst sitting on the terrace watching the world go by, we can highly recommend it!!
