Puig de Fonollet has a new PADEL COURT and a new POLIVALENT HALL. It is a seventeenth century farmhouse, expanded and renovated in later centuries to fall into disuse and that with rural tourism has come out of oblivion to reopen the doors and share with all of you the rural essence. The farmhouse was built in 1615, it has been completely renovated in 2011. Located in the municipality of Puig-reig, in the Berguedà region, province of Barcelona. The farmhouse has been rebuilt respecting the original form and preserving all the existing elements. Cal Viudet Vell is a 16th century farmhouse as recorded in the archives. It was a humble peasant house, dedicated to agriculture and livestock. The upper part of the house was used as a dwelling. The lower floor was the stables for the animals, to work the crops in the fields surrounding the farm. It was inhabited until 1960. Thanks to the work done by the couple Lluís and M. Rosa. Rosa, advised by the friend Josep Maria Boix (who for three years have been restoring it and pampering the small details) has resulted in a house worthy of a quiet and very pleasant stays, with all the comfort of the XXI century. The old house of the Canellas Mill dates back to before the 18th century. It is located at the foot of the stream of Biure and at the foot of a beautiful poplar grove. In the year 2000 it was completely renovated and equipped with all the modern comforts with a large garden area with private pool, porch, barbecue ... to enjoy the rural environment in the Berguedà. On the first floor and garden level, the Molí de Canellas house has a large living-dining-kitchen, the latter with the necessary appliances and utensils (ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, espresso machine, tea...). Inside the house, on the lower floor you will find the games room, where the ping-pong table and the table soccer coexist with the old machinery of the old mill. Outside, a large garden area with a swimming pool of 4 x 8 m in size and minimum depth of 0.80 m and maximum depth of 1.60 m in front of the porch with barbecue will make you enjoy a good barbecue with meat from Berguedà, no doubt!
