I am a Gibraltarian living in London - like most Gibraltarians I love the sun and the Mediterranean food of southern Spain. I love to visit as often as I can - our Casa is my family's favourite place to come together - whether that is my husband and kids or my large extended family who live on the Rock or close-by in Spain. Sotogrande is a large private estate. It has its own secure manned entrances. It is a mixed community of people who live and work there all year round plus holidaymakers from all over Europe. It offers a classic southern European setting with beaches, golf, tennis, padel, water sports and easy access to the Costa del Sol and Costa del Luz. Gibraltar is 20 minutes drive and Malaga is 60 minutes using the easily accessed toll road. Good, safe, sandy beaches are five minutes away by car but the whole coast is one long beach - and beach beds and shades are available on almost all beaches these days. The popular and vibrant Marina of Duquesa and beaches is within a walking distance from the Villa offering a wide selection of Restaurants, Cafés and Chiringuitos with access to the most beautiful beaches along this coast. The private and heated pool, the attractive pergola and table tennis,chillout area and barbeque invite the guests to outdoor staying. A large partly covered terrace allows to relax away from the sun without missing on the spectacular views of the sea and countryside. The layout of the villa takes into account the privacy of the guests and includes a separate guests apartment with its own entrance. It is a charming Villa with an exclusive character and many extras like A/c in every bedroom and salon, TV (Netflix and local), Induction-hob to make our guests feel at home. Super-markets are in walking distance, but we would recommend especially to families with children, hiring a car. The Villa is in Spain a registered "Casa Rural" and we have to inscribe our guests in the tourism database including passport dates and home address....
