Cortal del Baille is a centuries old stone barn which has been tastefully converted to provide a very comfortable home from home for 8 people. Close to the villages of Las Illas (in France approx 1km) and La Vajol (in Spain approx 4km) and only 35 mins from the Mediterranean. It nestles at the top of a hill from which you look out on to the Spanish border. The barn is surrounded by wilderness, woods and meadow and you can simply walk into the surrounding hills. There is a pool in the meadow behind the barn with tremendous views all around. The pool is shared with the owners. A truly wonderful place to experience nature, peace and quiet in the sun. Cortal del Baille is extremely peaceful and private, indeed the Barn, pool area and garden are NOT overlooked by any other houses.
