The country house "Masia Mimosa" is part of a complex consisting of 3 independent units and situated in Darnius. The 150 m² property consists of a living room, a kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and can accommodate 2 people. On-site amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), a TV, a fan and a dishwasher. The property has access to a well-equipped shared outdoor area which includes a pool, a garden, 4 open terraces, a covered terrace and a barbecue. Just 5 minutes from the property you can enjoy the Catalan village of Darnius where you can find a shop with basic necessities (vegetables, meat, etc.), La Concordia, the local bar where you can enjoy tapas in a family atmosphere, a pharmacy, a butcher and the yacht club restaurant, a traditional Catalan food restaurant with wonderful views. 20 parking spaces are available on the property. Families with children are welcome. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed (for a fee). There are small dog houses in the outside area. Smoking and celebrating events are not allowed. Finca Paraiso is a spacious wooded estate on the border of the Darnius reservoir in the heart of the interior of the Costa Brava. The lake is uncrowded even in August and highly suitable for swimming, fishing and rowing. The surrounding area is excellent for walking, riding and other outdoor sports and the scenery with the backdrop of the Pyrenees, spectacular. Quaint stone built villages dot the surrounding area and the beautiful coves of the Alt Empordà seaside villages are within a 45 minute car drive. The town of Figueres with its Dalí museum, Thursday market and old town pedestrian shopping area is just 20 minutes by car and France is also easily accessible through the main La Jonquera frontier or the less travelled mountain passes. The loudest sound is the wind in the trees. These are twin bedded studio apartments approximately 30sq.m, with fairly spacious shower bathrooms. They include a fully equipped kitchen area containing a sink, ceramic hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle. A washing machine is also available in a separate building and the studios have an ironing board and iron. There is a dining area and a sofa bed which converts into a 135cm double bed.
