The Finca El Bebedero is an old farm that has been slowly renovated over the last 20 years. The location was chosen for its proximity to a vital resource: water. Next to us is an old fountain from the adjacent tropical forest. The name 'Bebedero' means 'drink', because the locals came here to bring water home and to drink their animals in the small reservoirs. With this abundance of water, they built washbasins where women washed the clothes of their families. Today, historical monuments teach us how difficult life was in the past.
