Mas Palleu has more than two centuries of history and it's located in Sant Miquel de Sacot, in the municipality of Santa Pau. Situated in the middle of Jordà's beech wood forest, the most protected zone of Garrotxa Volcanic Area Natural Park, you can enjoy peace and tranquillity, be in contact with farm animals and enjoy nice sights that the surroundings offer. From 1990 onwards major renovations have occurred, resulting in a lot of improvements having been made. Rural life can be glimpsed from each corner of the cottage. Different farm animals live on the property: hens in the hen run, next to the vacation cottage, ducks running on the hill, chickens, rabbits,... and, the cat and Mona, a friendly dog. The house, on top of the hill and surrounded by the beech wood forest is a fantastic place if you want to switch off and walk, go by bike,... and breathe fresh air, far from big cities' pollution. El Perer del Corb is a restored farmhouse with capacity for 8 people located in the neighborhood of Sant Martí del Corb from where the cliffs of the Puig Rodó volcano rise, a 905m viewpoint that dominates the Natural Park of the La Garrotxa Volcanic Zone . The location of the house allows us to access La Fageda d'en Jordà with a 10-minute walk and also the Romanesque hermitage of Sant Miquel del Corb, taking approximately 40 minutes. Outside is equipped with a picnic table and a charcoal barbecue to enjoy the surroundings and outdoor meals. The farmhouse is surrounded by forest and this provides a somber rest areas during the sunniest hours. The interior consists of two floors. On the ground floor there is a bright hall with a small library, a living room with fireplace and flat screen TV and a bathroom. We also find a kitchen with a table for 6 people and a small pantry. The rural house of Can Varilla is a beautiful restored house located in the small town of Riudaura. It has 4 floors and garden with pool and barbecue area with outdoor tables. On the ground floor we will find a kitchen with dining room that has access to the garden where the barbecue is, the outdoor tables and the pool. On this floor we will also find a toilet. On the first floor of the house is the main entrance, the hall with tourist information, a small table with foosball and a large bathroom with 3 showers and a toilet.
