La Oliva is a beautiful village house, large and spacious with the rare facility of a lovely secluded garden, patio and barbecue area. A place to sit in the sun or shade can be found at any time of the day. The house was beautifully renovated many years ago which makes it feel original, the many windows give a feeling of space and tranquillity. Montejaque is one of the prettiest pueblos blacos in Andalucia with a population of approximately 1000.Recently it has attracted substantial financial support from Malaga resulting in the development of well run tourist office , an impressive walkway over a nearby high dam and many fiestas with a main one in May and August ending with a Battle of the Bridge celebration in October. The property benefits from a large fully fitted kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave , oven/hob, toaster and coffee machines. Full sets of crockery and cutlery are provided as well as all the usual kitchen staples that you may need to prepare meals. The house is managed by our local agent who is available for assistance 24/7 and it is professionally cleaned after each guest. The spacious and airy main room is fitted with a cosy wood burning stove for the winter months. Large comfortable sofas, a flat screen TV and with a small sound system are also provided.
