Villajoyosa is a lively city during the day, but all restaurants close at a reasonable hour, ensuring you a good night's rest. Above the old town there is a Spanish city of 35,000 inhabitants, almost free of tourism throughout the year, creating a very pleasant and authentic atmosphere.
