The Ranch Studio in the beautiful small village of El Ferrer offers exceptional value accommodation for 1 or 2 people. Pool can be heated from May 2018 onwards! La Rueda, our cortijo and the cottage we rent, is situated 5km outside Orgiva in a hamlet called Los Agustines, at the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevada. This is still a 'living' community of mainly vegetable farmers who till their land below us mostly by hand. Sit in your hammock and watch them. Often one of our lovely neighbours knocks on the door to share his produce with us. Every afternoon some goats with bells around their necks make their way down to the fields, or Paco or Jose go by with their mule. This place really is as idyllic as it sounds! Our cottage is set in its own small garden and is surrounded by lots of lovely colours and smells. Los Almendros is a lovely cottage with a large garden and private pool (4m x 8m). Located just on the edge of Nigüelas, a charming village in the beautiful Lecrin Valley. The accommodation is made up one double bedroom and one twin. The dining/ living room is open plan and runs the length of the property. There is direct access from the living area to the garden through French doors. The living area is equipped with TV, DVD and a stereo. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom has recently been renovated. The mature garden is made up of areas of lawn and terrace surrounding the 4m x 8m swimming pool. Grape vines, wisteria and fig trees provide shade. There is a barbecue and outside seating for dining al fresco. Air conditioning makes Los Almendros comfortable in the heat of the summer.
