The farmhouse lies in the hills between the villages of Competa and Torrox and looks up to the Sierra Almijara – the mountain range between Malaga and Granada.There are wonderful mountain and sea views.
Driving through the iron gates up the drive way there are pink oleander bushes on your right hand side and orange and almond trees and trailing rosemary on the left. The finca greets you with a warm good feeling. Carefully restored 5 years ago it is in the traditional rustic Spanish style.
Inside, it has been carefully decorated with quality furniture, pictures and bedding making it altogether extremely comfortable.
The property is a peaceful haven.

Inside Finca Maina is a living/dining room with an open Andalusian fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms(one with a king size bed the other with twin beds),two bathrooms, hall way and small utility room. Large outdoor terrace which is perfect for alfesco dining.Portable barbecue. The finca is fully furnished with everything needed for your holiday stay including Sky freeview TV, radio (on satellite)and CD/DVD/video player, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board. All 100% cotton linen is provided.There is central heating for the cooler months with a radiator in each room.

Holiday hone near Competa, Andalucia

Luxurious holiday home. Well equipped and furnished. Good views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Large open log burning fireplace - ideal for the chilly winter evenings. Generally very peaceful. Competa is about 10 minutes away by car and well worth exploring. Torrox Costa, a 30 minute drive away is also well worth visiting and has many restaurants and supermarkets. On arriving, the caretaker was very helpful in showing me around the property. Enjoyed my stay and I would recommend this property as good value for money.

A little piece of heaven

Relaxed, tranquil (even with 2 children!) location but near enough to village spotlessly clean, fully equipped. Felt very at ease there. Nothing too much trouble when asked of key holder. Would highly recommend without hesitation. No pool, but price more than adequately reflected that so also much cheaper than other villas in the area. Had a fantastic time there chilling with ffamily.
