The Area:

Almunecar is a charming Spanish town. Taking a wander through the old town will lead you to tiny streets that lead up past charming buildings until finally you reach the Castle. It is bustling with bars, restaurants and tapas bars and will offer something for everyone to enjoy, from fantastic menu of the day restaurants to A la Carte. The fresh fruit, vegetables and food markets are renowned locally so take a wander to them and enjoy!

There are classical and jazz concerts in the park and festivals in the streets at certain times of the year and a thriving nightlife to add to the magic of the town.

And for the children there is an Aqua park close by and a variety of water sports and other out door activities, including boat hire.

Located in the exclusive area of Cotobro Los Ramos is renowned as a very special and peaceful place that people come back to year after year. As the apartment is situated on the top floor of this building it enjoys the best views of the coastline and town of Almunecar and offers a more secluded position.


The Apartment:

This is a beautifully decorated large and light apartment with stunning views. The lounge/diner, kitchen and master bedroom all have sea views. The kitchen is modern and well equipped with everything that you will need to make your stay an enjoyable one.

The bedrooms (one with a double bed and other with twin beds) have fitted wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms. There is also a baby cot and high chair available for babies.

The open plan lounge diner has ample room for relaxing or dining and the terrace can seat four comfortably and enjoys full sun from dawn until dusk. During the day you have the view of the Mediterranean, San Cristobal rocks and the headland of Marina Del Este, while in the evening lights highlight the Cross on the rocks and the old Castle. From your terrace you will see the local families and tourists take their evening stroll along this charming beachfront paseo whilst you listen to the sound of the waves gently breaking on the beach below.

The communal pool is beautifully maintained and rarely busy. It is located just to the side of the building so is easy to reach and benefits from wheelchair access.

The beautiful gardens lead to a marble entrance hall with three lifts and a huge staircase which are kept in pristine condition.

To get there:

Malaga and Granada airports are approximately 70 km away. For cheap flights, flight information and car hire check

Granada airlines: Ryan Air, Monarch.
Malaga: Monarch, Ryan Air, Easyjet and Thompson

You do not need a car in Almunecar but it does help to get to and from the airport. However there are taxis that specialise in airport pick ups which can be arranged or you could hire a car from a company like from the airport and drop it off in Almunecar.

Other Activities:

Water sports, paragliding, hang gliding, pony trekking, diving, yacht charter, walking, Wildlife safaris. There is also an Aqua Park. Further a field within 1 hours drive is the historic town of Granada and the ski resorts of the Sierra Nevada where you can ski on a daily basis.
Golf Courses:
18 hole course at Velez-Malaga (35 minutes drive).
Two 9 hole courses at Salobrena (15 minutes drive).
18 hole course on south-east of Granada (1 hour drive).
Luxury 18 hole course at Malaga (70 minutes drive).

There is excellent diving and snorkelling at the marine conservation area at La Herradura (10 mins drive).

For long term winter lets, bed linen, towels and final clean are included in the price.
For winter long term lets electricity is not included in the price. Electricity is £65 per month/4 weeks.

Payments:
30% Deposit required to secure booking
70% Balance due six weeks before departure.
