In this upside-down house one sleeps cool on the lower 2 floors, whilst the living and cooking is on the third floor, near the balcony and the roof terrace. Nice to drink a cup of coffee and enjoy the sight over the Rio Santo Gorge or over the village. The roofterrace has a dinigtable with 4 chairs.
Lots of windows and thick old walls keep this charming cornerhouse cool on summerdays. The interior is decorated in a simple and tastefull style. The masterbedroom has one dubbelbed and the 2d bedroom has 2 single beds. Two couples and a baby can sleep and bath in their own area. A cot and a babychair belong to the house.
Sitting in the paradise-like garden is one of the great advantages of this house. There is sun as well as shadow and paddlingpools for waterfun. All kinds of fruit can be picked when they are ripe, besides oranges, grapes, pommegranates and figs. Children can play and splash while (grand)parents are watching them from the top of the house.
Teenagers can go by bus to Granada. The beach is nearby on half an hour driving and ski-ing is also a possibility in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada.
Walking is a great pleasure. Near the house begins one of the ancient GR7 walks.
The village itself is quiet but has 3 small supermarkets, a bank and some bars and restaurants. On Thursdaymorning there is a market on the square. On the way to Granada one passes nearby sweet villages offering all kinds of interesting goals to visit like Melegis, Saleres, Restabal.

Albuñuelas is within easy reach by flying on Malaga, wich has plenty cheap fly/drive possibilities.

Van Albunuelas is het een paar minuten rijden naar dorpen in de buurt van de Lecrin Vallei. Elk dorp heeft zijn eigen activiteiten, Zoals markten, traditionele feesten, zwembad, sport en winkels. Het prachtige Granada is slechts 30 minuten rijden en de Sierra Nevada is een interessant skigebied.
