The casita (small house) is part of a larger manor house/country house (Can Magdale) in the listed village of Marraxinet, about 30 km north-east of Palma. Marraxtinet is a small and quiet village with about 20 houses, nestled on a ridge with views of the bay of Palma shimmering blue in the distance, the wide plain between Portol and Santa Maria del Cami and to the west the whole of the central Tramuntana up to the highest mountain in Mallorca, the Puig Mayor. The transport connections from Marraxtinet are excellent. The Palma / Alcudia motorway is just a few minutes away.
