Benissa's history is the story of a land leaning out on the Mediterranean that has been shaped by mankind from prehistory to the Iberians, Romans, Arabs, and Christians. The historic centre, including the lovely church, is amazing. Narrow winding streets and ancient houses are fabulous to see and photograph. It has an impressive two-towered church and some nice restaurants for local food.

A very beautiful church in Moraira. Stunning altar and stained glass. Built in 1902, with absolutely beautiful altars and side chapels. Well worth a visit.
