Only 4 minutes walk to the long sandy beach dotted, along the decked promenade, with beach bars and restaurants and a 35 minute easy drive from Alicante airport. It's a 5 minute walk to a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, chemists etc. 10 mins walk to the town square where there are lovely restaurants and often events happening, there is also a local wine bodega. There are lovely walks around the salt lagoon nature reserve, 10 mins away, where various types of wildlife including flamingos and hoopoes can be spotted. The town has a street market every Wednesday morning and there are a number of fiestas throughout the year.
