Discover La Mata from our lovely 2 bedroom, recently refurbished, 'bungalow alto' apartment. Only 4 minutes walk to the long sandy beach with a decked promenade, with beach bars and restaurants, and a 35 minute easy drive from Alicante airport. It's a 5 minute walk to a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, chemists etc. 10 mins walk to the town square where there are lovely restaurants and often events happening, there is also a local wine bodega. There are lovely walks around the salt lagoon nature reserve, 10 mins away, where various types of wildlife including flamingos and hoopoes can be spotted. The town has a street market every Wednesday morning and there are a number of fiestas throughout the year. Our apartment, sleeping up to 6 people, (2 bedrooms, double sofa bed in lounge) is in a beautiful gated complex with 2 communal pools (the larger one is only open peak season approx. 15th June-15th Sept). Perfect for families and couples. You'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge, hob, kettle, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee filter machine, juicer and a microwave as well as plenty of cutlery, crockery and utensils.
