On the Canary Island of Fuerteventura, the dreamlike Villa Annunaki is situated in a quiet and idyllic residential area on the outskirts of the village Lajares. Lajares has got 1500 inhabitants with 32 nationalities. The villa, built at the foot of the volcano, extends across 250 m² of living space and offers a living and dining area separated by 2 steps, a huge and very well-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms (2 of them with double beds and a third one with a double bed and a single bed) as well as 2 bathrooms, one of which is equipped with a luxurious bathtub jacuzzi. A separate guest house overlooks the swimming pool and comprises a room (one double bed +one single bed), another kitchen and a bathroom, which will allow you to be independant. Every morning you can see the sunrise over the mountains with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Open the sliding patio doors to the patio area surrounding your own private heated pool. There is an outdoor covered barbecue area. The greenery of the well tended mature garden adds to the peacefulness of the villa. The villa has a large open plan living room area with a kitchen and dining area. This opens out to the patio and pool area. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with sliding doors to the pool area. There is a further twin bedroom off the living area and a wooden staircase leading to a double bedroom with en suite and private terrace upstairs. Lajares has a good supermarket and plenty of great places to eat out and enjoy live music. We recommend visiting the beautiful unspoilt beaches at El Cotillo and the spectacular Dunes at Corralejo. There are several great walks locally, like the volcanic Montana Colorado. A written guide and some walking equipment is kept in the Villa for guests to use.
