It is a quiet area but you will still have several restaurants and bars to both sides, a supermarket 250m away (Mercadona) and public transport almost at the door. The nearest beach is Las Viborillas, which is 40-50m from the apartment where you can rent parasols for the whole day. The train station 'Torremuelle' is more or less 2km away so if you have time and want to spend a day in Malaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, this is the easiest and cheapest way.
