It is distributed in: entrance, a double room (bed 180) type suite with bathroom with bath and toilet, two double rooms with bed 150cm, sink and a shower each, a separated toilet, large dining room with semi-opened kitchen and exit to the terrace. There is a fourth room with two single beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet with separate entrance to the house. At the end of the garden we have the independent studio of about 40m2 with four single beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Outside there is the magnificent garden with the private pool in the middle, the barbecue part and an outdoor shower. In the front of the house there are parking spaces for 4 cars. My grandfather Alfons started to build the house in 1932 to marry my grandmother Rosita. The stones of the house are from the Fluviá river as it passes through Orfes, which he used to fetch with his cart. He always explained to us that in winter those stones were frozen. In 1935 my grandparents got married and came to live in the house, but when the war broke out, everything changed. Grandfather Fonsu had to leave and grandmother was left alone. The soldiers requisitioned the house as barracks for a while. When the war was over, they had to start all over again. They opened an inn with a grocery store and a feed mill. The farmers of the area came with their carts and animals to stock up for the week. It was a meeting point for a glass of anisette, a game of butifarra sausage and to comment on the sowing. The farmers would come with their baskets to do the shopping. In 1977 my parents bought Mas Ferran to expand the mill and had to close the store because it was no longer profitable. My family continued living in Can Fonsu until 1996. After a few years and a careful restoration, we opened with great enthusiasm for all of you....
